Bio:

Chris Anderson is originally from Chicago but has lived in Machesney Park since 1986. He graduated from William Rainey Harper College, Northern Illinois University and the New York Institute of Photography.

He has been a freelance photographer since 2005 and works regularly for The Post Journal. His photographs have also been published in the Rockford Register Star, Freeport Journal Standard, Aurora Beacon News, Belvidere Daily Republican, Roscoe/Rockton Herald, Ogle County Life and Todd County Standard newspapers, Shutterbug magazine as well as the Summer 2008 edition of Northwest Quarterly and several web sites. His photographs were chosen for the cover of the Blues Shootout 2005 CD. He is also the team photographer for the Rock River Raptors and 2009 National Pro Fastpitch Champion Rockford Thunder, contributing photographer for the Wisconsin Wolfpack and has done work for the American Red Cross, Northwest Illinois Special Olympics and On The Waterfront.

Erik Anderson is from Machesney Park and is a 2008 graduate of Harlem High School. He currently attends Rock Valley College on the Elizabeth Harris Scholarship. After completing his Associate degree will transfer to Northern Illinois University to study photography in the Bachleor of Fine Arts Fine Arts program.

In January 2009 Erik was appointed photographer for the Rock Valley College newspaper, The Valley Forge, where he will be photographing athletic events for the college. He currently works as a freelance photographer for the Rockford Register Star and he is also photographing South Beloit and Harlem High School sports for The Rockton Herald and Post Journal and was one of the photographers for the 2009 On The Waterfront festival.

Erik was featured in the July 2009 issue of Shutterbug magazine.
